Responsibilities
- Perform engineering design including telecommunication requirement analysis
- Deliver technical feasibility study including site survey, conceptual design, detailed design of telecommunication systems
- Produce engineering deliverables e.g. design basis, specifications, data sheets, block diagrams, wiring diagram, equipment layout etc
- Provide technical engineering supports during project execution
- Liaise with the relevant stakeholders throughout the project including project meeting, inter-disciplinary meetings, technical assurance reviews for telecommunication systems
- Provide technical engineering support for contracting and procurement of telecommunication systems – tendering, bid evaluation, vendor data review and incorporation
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years working experience in three or more of following systems:
- Transmission System – Microwave, Troposcatter, WiMAX, Fibre Optics
- Satellite Communication – VSAT, Inmarsat
- Public Adress & General Alarms (PAGA)
- Radio Systems – UHF,VHF, HF, Radio Trunking (Tetra, P25)
- Navigation Aids – ARPA, RACON, AIS, NDB
- Surveillance System – CCTV
- Telephony Systems – PABX, IP Telephony
- Data Networking System – LAN
- Preferably in Oil & Gas industry
- Familiar with link analysis tools e.g. Pathloss
- Possess site exposure and commissioning experience will be an advantage
- Minimum Bachelor’s Engineering degree in Telecommunication, Electrical, Electronic or Mechatronic. Applicants in other disciplines but posses relevant working experience are encouraged to apply
- Good written and communication skill especially in technical areas
